It is no secret that many prominent investors beat the market by investing in high dividend stocks. Jim Simons and Warren Buffet are perfect examples of dividend-riders. Benjamin Graham also suggests investing in stocks with at least some dividends. I also think that money in my pocket is better than the money somewhere else.
